When I was in the process of signing my girls up for summer camps I stopped to appreciate (and feel jealous of) all of these different things they could sign up to learn and grow at for a week. Art, sports, beach fun etc. So I was inspired to make my own for grown ups who wanted a week (but actually two days because adults can't take a week away from life) to learn and grow in the specific field of family photography. I will be excited to train up an amazing group and cultivate a community within that will serve us all well beyond our two days.

ITINERARY  

-Beach Family shoot. I will have a family ready to be our guinea pigs as I take you through what the experience of a shoot is like for my clients as well as the technical aspects of settings and poses.

-Newborn shoot. I will recruit a family with a newborn and we will do another training shoot at an indoor morning session.

 -Minis Training Session. Our third training shoot where I will demonstrate the pace of what a mini session should feel like as well as exploring the different vignettes and lighting scenarios we can practice . Also the perfect spot to get everyone an updated headshot!

 -Workflow training. We will have a space at Unita Clubwork space to get together college lecture style and I will demonstrate the work flow (culling, storage and into editing) that I have streamlined for the most efficient way to work through all of those shoots.

 -Editing! Such a draining yet absolutely essential component of your shoot. I'm going to be demonstrating and sharing my editing presets to help magnify your beautiful images.

 -Scheduling. How to build a schedule. I have had many many many trial and error situations here and I finally feel like I have a great system and I am excited to coach you into optimizing yours as well

I am very driven and committed to the quality of experience my clients have and I am looking forward to sharing my process with you. I have had success with teaching the fundamentals to my business and techniques with my amazing associate, Riley, who I trained from no experience to trusting to shooting under my brand. I believe in learning from others as a community and I am happy to be sharing all of the trial and error that I've gone through to get me where I am now.
